COVID-19 LANDING PAGE

When COVID-19 was declared a pandemic in March 2020, Walgreens launched a simple web page to answer customer questions about the rapidly evolving outbreak. I worked closely with a designer to overhaul this high-traffic page (40K visits per day) to better serve customers, taking it from a general Q&A to a hub for breaking news and updates as well as expanded services and improved safety measures: curbside pickup, free Rx delivery, contactless payment, testing, etc.

Phase 2 launched on March 19, 2020, and we refreshed it dozens of times over the course of the pandemic, adding new services and redesigning the information hierarchy to meet the changing needs of customers.  

I helped Walgreens become a trusted source for COVID-19 info by leveraging helpful content (including expert insights, such as our Ask a Pharmacist video series), regularly updating the FAQ based on the latest facts and establishing an approachable yet authoritative tone.
