WALGREENS RX COST ADVISOR
I collaborated with a product designer and UX designer to create a mobile experience called Walgreens Rx Cost Advisor, a program that helps customers find a lower-cost alternative to their current medication. As part of an initiative by Walgreens to be more transparent about medication costs, Rx Cost Advisor surfaces more affordable options and allows customers to request to switch to a new medication if desired. The request is then sent to their doctor for approval, and the doctor’s response is sent to the pharmacy. Walgreens pharmacists manage these prescriptions within a portal created exclusively for the program. My challenge was taking a very complicated backend experience and writing clear and concise customer-facing copy that distills each step of the flow, incorporating findings from user research to refine the product before launch.
